My Dev Server Is Haunted By A Local Ghost

2023-Mar-29

That stats page with no link is now linked in that green Spotify button in the top right (for PC) or below the blog post (phone/tablets). Maybe I’ll add my official Spotify account profile page to the contact section.

I have not read that much since the last blog post, so there is not enough literary grist for my critique mill. I’ll have to focus my critical eye on to other mediums. I have been spending an embarrassing amount of time on the critically acclaimed Western outlaw simulator Red Dead Redemption 2 on my PC. Every bit of it is saturated with cowboy-ness. The tedium of setting up camp to brew coffee because my playable character is too tired to shoot straight has not set in yet.

Also I saw the Reverend Horton Heat a few days ago. This concert attendance could have been predicted by the uptick in RHH in the listening charts in the past few weeks. Those charts work! Anyway, I am not an audio engineer, but I have seen them between nine and eleven times. I’ve grown accustomed to their live sound. That last show at the Paper Tiger was not them sounding their best. They played fine and loud, yet the sound landed flat against my senses. Not an enveloping glove of rock sound.

I guess I’ll add concert reviews to this blog’s range of topics too. Screaming Females is next tuesday.
